It took me a few years to tackle this project, my great Auntie Elouise was in Hawaii in the 1939-43 range. This box holds about 300 pix meticulously pasted to cards and labeled. An amazing story is unfolding as I scan them and look for context. I know so many of the places from the modern era.

There are a couple of MAGA people in the circle of my daily travels. I pretty much keep my politics to myself (excepting protests). Most people around me know that I’m left leaning and equality and constitution believing. I often find MAGA people want to yell from the rooftops. insecurity?

Finally getting around to scanning to hundreds of photo that my Great Auntie took in Hawaii In 1939-45. Mostly on Hawaii island. This one is from the old Honolulu Stadium 12-16-30. U of H 6. College of the Pacific 19. These photos run the gamut. It will take weeks


Just wondering. Seeing very few African Americans at the protests. Are they just sitting this one out? Can’t believe they’re not affected by what’s going on.
Excluding ⬆️ prices, we haven’t been directly affected, but we’re looking at the direction this is going. Trying to head it off at the pass
Removed the Dodgers as a favorite team from sports apps. Been a fan since I was 5 yo. Their social behavior is abhorrent. When Frank McCourt was owner we knew it was all about greed. These guys are about placating a wanna be king.
