Today we went on a field trip to the Kaloko-Honokōhau national park. I’ve driven by this park right off the highway hundreds of times in the past few years. The last time I was here was maybe 2005ish. It’s among a lowland dry forest with fish ponds.

I’m sure it’s obvious I’m all about music. I can just sit at home and listen to a full album or a chosen playlist. Tonight is 70s island music. I’m a child of the 70s & a little late 60s. Hawaiian & Island music changed a lot in that period away from Chalangalang hula music to more modern
The thing we can be thankful for living by the ocean is VOG, much like clouds, follows warmth. It goes mostly offshore at night and mostly mauka in the day.
