Controversial opinion, but, I know Hawaiians know how to protest. We’ll see if they feel this rises to the level of protecting Mauna Kea. Maybe not, maybe they want the US to crash.
Today’s protests are a great dry run for what we’ll need to do going forward. If martial law is coming we will need monumental protests to counter their actions. What the people in Turkey did last weekend was a great example.
We will be the last protest in the US today. Our Hands Off protest in Kona is at 4pm HST across from Lowe’s on the highway. They expect over 400. That’s huge for anything in Kona that’s not a reggae concert or Konawaena football game.

This Saturday will be the first protest I’ve been involved in since I went to a Viet Nam protest at the University of Hawaii with my Auntie, 1970. My Aunt Jenny was the wild one, my Mom was a conservative southern girl. My Auntie wanted me to see the world for what it was.
