My step-son in Sonoma said stores are adding security and Walmart will be locking the doors and do home deliveries or bring to your car. All because of SNAP cuts. They also expect robberies to go up and are telling people to “watch your back”

My step-son just found out day-care for their 18mo old is $1600 a month. My daughter’s day care > Pre-School at Aiea Hongwanji was $265 a month in 1989. That’s some inflation.

We’re flying to No California on Thursday. When we booked the flights a month ago we could not imagine that the government shutdown would still be going on. The best we can do now is go the airport and hope.


I had a trademark for my former media company that came up for renewal. The company isn’t active, but I renewed it anyway. I’ve been receiving a steady stream of emails from patents and trademark lawyers. Had to make a mail rule for them.
