I found these pix of the Naniloa pier. We had to do a quick repair to make it usable for a ceremony before the Voyage to Rapa Nui in 1999

Guarantee people will be executed over this.
Rich people aren’t that smart, just lucky
Just finished The Brutalist. Powerful movie. Not a big fan of brutalist architecture. More a fan of smaller structures made from natural materials.
I don’t need the gory details, I just read the headlines and I know what MAGA has done. They are inherently evil.
Hawaii News now is at the Arizona Memorial this morning. We went there for school field trips a lot. I Worked with people in the 80s who remember the attack as kids.
This is down on the beach at Kehena. These lightly (or sans) clothed people were really confused when over 100 canoes started landing on the beach.
I have hundreds of pix of outrigger canoe paddling from the early 2000s. These are from the Pohoiki to Kehena race. Finished on the nude black sand beach (images I didn’t need to see), then the canoes are passed up the trail. Disposable camera.

Looking through my Hawaiian Music, I have 10 versions of ʻAhulili by Scott Ha’i born in Kaupo Maui in 1873. Sharing the Gabby Pahinui Version. It’s a song about jelousy. Handwritten lyrics by Ha`i
A love for Ahulili He might be jealous For not always being placed on The mist of the mountain
