The houselessness problem in Kona (and elsewhere) is a case of wack a mole. I know a couple of first responders who have told me that for many of these people it’s a chosen lifestyle. They don’t want responsibility. Many of them grew up on social programs and don’t know any other way.

Today’s protest in Kona has been cancelled due to rain and mud. 2 thoughts. In Hilo nothing is canceled unless is flooding and I can’t remember the last time anything was cancelled in Kona due rain. It hardly rains in Kona.
