This song, Far too wide for me", came out just before we moved to California in 1981. I remember the first time we heard it when soneone sent us the album. We were both in tears. It still brings a tear to my eyes thinking of being across an ocean.
Not sure it’s the same Kolea, but I see one there almost daily, and they are territorial. Mynah birds don’t bother them like they do all of the other birds.
I have 12 of The Peter Moon Band’s albums (1 solo album) safely in the Music app. Some real obscure stuff buried in these albums. Think I’m only missing “The Best of Peter Moon” from 1981. I think I lent it to my daughter. I know I had it.
Had some Cafe Du Monde Beignet mix in the back of the fridge for a while. They’re not pretty, but are very tasty.
Cleaned up my Apple Music palylists. Merged some, deleted others. It was bloated. Ripped 4 more Peter Moon CDs that I found in a cabinet and added to Music. It took longest to find my Super Drive. Wouldn’t work on M1 Air. Worked fine on M1 Mac Mini.
Scored a copy of Aunty Alice Namakelua’s 1974 album Nalo Meli. Long out of print and not on any streaming service nor on CDs.

Didn’t get the PBX job. Was told they wanted someone with specific PBX experience. I think I am just way over qualified. In reality, I have more experience than every manager on the property. Since the injury was work related, the ball is in their court. Now I wait. Likely back on WC payments.
