Was recalling business travel in the 80s when I managed at TGI Fridays. There was a corporate travel agency in Dallas that would send a letter with travel itinerary, tickets for all segments, ground transportation and accommodation info. I’ve gotten pretty good at booking but miss the old way.


We get promos from Spectrum often twice a week because we dropped their unreliable internet. After awhile it’s no cute anymore


I have fouund many things that really annoyed me when I was younger donʻt bother me anymore. Then Trump came along and gave me a whole bunch of new things to be be mad at.


Iʻve been slowly falling out of love with Apple, but currenly the best solution of what I use technolgy for. They would have to fall pretty for me to drop them, by then I likely wonʻt want to need that level of tech.


I was having an email discussion with the lead Archivist at the Hawaii state archive whose team is archiving Hawaiian music from the early 1900s. He sent me a link to his dissertation on “Technological features of preservation systems that support the authenticity of digital records.” Fascinating

Was watching a walking tour of Avellino Italy from just a few weeks ago, where a good portion of my Italian bloodline came from. That place looks pretty good right now.


Having hard time finding any info on the Kona Plantation. Brochure says is a short walk from Kailua town. 1968 rate card. $30 cottage for 2. Includes a car $1.50/day for gas and insurance.

As to that piece on Hawaii’s future. We sure messed that up and went with freeways. Mayor Fasi was an advocate of Public transport, others were not. If Hawaii had went with light rail back then, we would have had a different history.
