When or if this is ever behind us.

For the past year and a few months of this COVID re-opening and Delta and now Omicron, I’m managed a popular restaurant. I’ve had to be the strong and encouraging voice for concerned staff, keep the ship on course and the home office placated and be the “I want to see your manager” OR “let me get my manager” guy when customers get how customers can get. All of this while covering 2 or 3 positions juggling the staffing issues we all are dealing with.
When this is finally behind us, if it ever is, I want to find someplace quiet and secluded and off the grid to be alone for at least a few days. I may not want to return.

Torn about Kentucky. Feel really sad for the tornado’s destruction and what climate change is causing there. New iPad with Brydge keyboard. Might be my Mac replacement. Still have a Mac Mini as a fall back.

A bit of decadence before I head into the fray

I really like Vivaldi in my Mac, but since they aren’t on IOS, using MS Edge as my default browser in most places.

This was shared with me. Hope they can get off the ground. I’m not really a writer, code or otherwise, and only a casual book reader, but I love music and listen for hours a day. Musircle - The Social Media App for Music Lovers

I know my VPN works. I had it on (via UK) to watch a Champions League clip and forgot to turn it off. I opened my Edge browser and got a warning from MS that my account was being used in the UK.

I guess one of the things that makes the Beatles Get Back docu so intriguing is back when this was happening, way pre social media, the only thing we knew was what was in the tabloids and what was on vinyl.
