I’m this | | close to signing an offer letter to become GM at a different restaurant that’s part of a national restaurant group. I’ll face the same staffing challenges but making 30% more for bigger company. They also specifically mentioned that they believe in managers having 2 days off. Definitely not important at my current job. In my early career I managed for TGI Fridays. They also put a big value on managers taking their 2 days off. Work like hell for 5, but stay away for 2.
