Looks like the new iPhone is faster, thinner and lasts longer. Everything I’m not at my age. I’ll stick with current phone.
I’ve had a GMail account since 2006, I stopped using it daily years ago, it’s been a pass through for older newslettters and such, today it gets deleted
Despite the hype, think I can get another year out of my 13 Pro, or maybe get the 15 Pro when the price drops in 6-9 months.
Stopped using my Apple Watch a few weeks ago. It’s getting a little long in the tooth (battery life, etc). Also food safety rules say we’re not supposed to wear jewelry while working with food, so can’t really wear it at work. Don’t miss it. If I take up adventure sports, maybe I’ll get a new one.
Growing up in Hawaii with tough gun laws, it was never a worry. Thanks to the GOP and Trump’s judges people are now carrying guns here. I don’t want to go anywhere at night. Straight home after work.
Different 9/11 experience in Hawaii due to the time difference. I didn’t know anything was up until I got to work and turned on TV in the kitchen (I owned my own Cafe) My Dad was on an early flight back to Hawaii from DC he was ahead of the tragedies and was grounded in Denver for a couple of days
The thought recently crossed my mind that save for one person who I worked with in 1980 at TGI Fridays and my daughter, I don’t interact with anyone I’ve known longer than 20 years. Other than those who’ve passed, I have no clue where the people are from the previous 44 years.
I’ve used Day One since 2009, June 28 to be exact. I’m kind of looking foward to Apple’s entry in the Journal space. Looking forward to a smarter journal and not have to use IFFTT or other 3rd (or 4th) party solutions.
My M1 Mac mini hasn’t been updated in a while, so now I’m going through the progression of Ventura updates before I can get to Sonoma.
Took the full leap on IOS to Orion browser and Kagi search. Will look at my Mac tomorrow, use the Arc browser mostly.
