Well I got a back to work note limited to 3 days a week with some restrictions for my right (surgical) shoulder. Limited lifting, pushing and pulling above shoulder height and the hotel still won’t let me back to work. Oh well

In times like this I go back to something I learned in the 7-Habits of highly effective people. I first read it in 1990. I was in a rough spot and a little scattered. I was sales manager for food broker. Habit one is Proactive. Stimulus and response. Minimize my circle of concern.
