We were planning on going to the 27th Slack Key Festival Kona Festival this afternoon, but I discovered they’re supposed to stream it. We may just stay home at watch. Tickets are $20 and it will be 4 hours on uncomfortable ballroom seating. We’ll check out the stream and decide whether to go or not.
Man City will sue the league into bankruptcy and out of existence. Then their owners will walk away and move to the next thing.
Apocalypse now: City wrangle shows the wealthiest owners could kill football
Personally, I like this better. I can’t keep track of where the stadiums are via sponsor names. I just look at who is playing
World Cup 2026 stadiums to use new names per FIFA rules
This photo shows one of the trails we were widening, the fountain grass is invasive. Beyond the grass is the Palamanui college campus with its solar panels and beyond that is Maui across rhe channel.

There is a demarcation line where the fountain grass ends and the dry forest begins. This is where the war is taking place between the wild goats and those of us wanting to preserve the forest. The goats keep chipping away at the forest and the grass moves in. We are hoping to fence in the forest.

Oregon tried to lose with all of the mistakes, but OSU made bigger mistake at the end. Gotta love the college game.
I love the rivalries of College football. Texas didn’t take too kindly to last year’s Oklahoma trash talking. Kept the starters in the prevent a late OK TD. 34-3
My Grandson and I volunteered at the Palamanui Reforestation projects. We planted indigenous trees and helped clear a trail working its way mauka to the upper forest
All of the teams left in the MLB playoffs have a history with the Dodgers going back to Brooklyn except the Mets. So we need to eliminate them.
I kinda of think home field/pitch advantage is not as meaningful in MLB as it is in Premier League football

Took this photo in 2005 right after we moved into our house in Waimea. Walked back to the pastures to take it. One of my faves. This was the view out of our bedroom window before they built homes behind us.
