My best professional decision (9 months ago) at the point in my life was getting out of management and going back where I started as a dinner chef. As a manager, you’re always on edge. Now I control my future. I can do this full time as long as I want, then maybe pull back to part time.

We’ve (me and my physical therapist) have stumbled on a simple action that is improving my pain markedly. For 30m a day, I float in the pool in float ring and let my legs dangle. It opens up my spine and gives my L5 room to heal. Still doing other stuff, but sometime it’s the simplest solution.

I think (hope) the politics are shifting in regards to support of Israel. It’s getting more damaging for Biden to support them than not.
Parma Calcio 1913 are in very good form. They should see promotion to Serie A. It will be nice to see them back in the top flight. Parma were bankrupt in 2015 and dropped to Serie D, after 3 straight promotions they were back in Serie A in 2018, relegated again on 20/21.
If and when Trump loses the election, all of these GOP stalwarts on his bandwagon will be left hanging.

Apple Music still isn’t smart enough tough to put Jackson Browne’s “Load Out” and “Stay” together. If I’m playing a playlist I need to manually put them together or my day is totally screwed up.
My wife is very frugal. Midwest sensibilities and all. Her iPad mini (version 2). Finally became unusable. Can’t update IOS, therefore many apps won’t update. Due to cost of mini, she got a 10” iPad 9. She’s always had a mini. She’s loving the 10”. Using it for all kinds of things. Great to see
I’m a union member for the first time in my long Hospitality career. I find that the communications that we get from the union has an undercurrent of the company as an adversary. Interesting
I tried watching the show “Bear”. A lot of people rave about it. I’ve worked in restaurants 40+ years. Front of the house and kitchen. Small places (including my own cafe) and large resort hotels. To me, the show is cute, but not very real. Contrived drama.
