Finally got around to watching the PBS show “In Hawaiian Hands - the story of Reggae in Hawaii”. Those that are overly critical of it don’t know Hawaiian music history. Hawaiian music has alway had influence from world music styles. Orchestral, horns, strings, jazz, pop music, etc etc.
