This is the earliest available recored Hawaiian song; Aloha `Oe by Nani Alapai and Henry Clark released on Columbia records in 1911. An earlier recording in 1898 by Berliner Gramophone on wax cylinders is lost. Most Hawaiian music was recorded on the continent, there were 100s of records by 1920.
