Got lost on a tanget today consolidating the John K Almeida music in my collection. Interesting tidbit. He was born in 1897. He became blind young when he was exposed to Maile bush sap. He composed over 300 songs. Played at Queen Lili`uoklani’s funeral. His story is chronicled in this new article.
