One of the things I did to stay up on daily news as I moved away from Twitter and most media went off the rails was to sign up for some daily emails from sources I feel like I trust. The first one was Morning Brew (more business newsy), then 1440, Axios (smart brevity), and more recently Punchbowl. I also get “The Week Daily business briefing” and “The Guardian First Thing”. The Guardian is likely my most trusted news source. There’s a couple of others I’ve received for quite a while that aren’t always daily (Inc., Apple News, etc). I subscribed to inc. back in the day, before the internet and when we actually read magazines
