Staying put

As to climate change. We live on a rather big island (that’s kind of why they call it “The Big Island”)There is plenty of room inland to live to account for ocean rise. We have a sizable aquifer under the island for water. This aquifer is fed from rain anywhere on the island. We have a strong and growing agricultural community. Excluding maybe the newer arrivals, we have rather independent population that looks out for our neighbors. Just need to be ready for bigger hurricanes and other storms and the occasional earthquake, which would have with or without climate change.
